Swing Dance Links
Swing dance is sassy, rhythmic, fun and easy. You can dance it slow and showy or fast and fancy, there are styles and steps for every taste. And the music! It's a chance to dance to big band jazz, rock and roll, rhythm and blues, and jump blues greats. What could be better?

We can teach you Lindy Hop (very popular), Jitterbug (very easy), or West Coast Swing (very cool)


Classes

Classes are held at the Buttonwood Street Studio and the University City Arts League in Philadelphia. You are always welcome to drop into any scheduled class for a preview.

Swing I Drop In Wednesdays 8:30 - 9:30. Starts March 12. Drop in for one class or take a discounted package for a series or multiple classes! Drop-in price: $10 per class. BSS

Mondays 6:25-7:45. April 29 - June 16

Private lessons:
Consider arranging small classes tailored to your specific needs. You and a group of friends can find a time that suits you, what aspect you want to concentrate on. Small classes give you lots of individual attention. You can do one lesson or a series, rotate partners or not. Our affordable prices vary according to number of people in class. Examples:
$75/hour for 1 or 2 people
$90/hour for 4 people
$115/hour for 6 people
Lesson packages for 1 or 2 people:
3 hours $200
5 hours $300
11 hours $600.
Private lessons are available at UCAL and the CC Studio. You can arrange for us to videotape your private lessons.

Social Dance Parties at The Arts League:
Swing, Ballroom & Latin Dancing!

Waltz, foxtrot, chachacha, swing, salsa, merengue, tango... Dance all this and more at the monthly (3rd Saturday) Social Dance Parties at the Arts League. Come with or without a partner, you'll meet friendly people who love to dance. Kelly will get you started with a 1/2 hour free lesson in a different dance every evening. Lesson 8:30-9 pm, dancing 9 pm-midnight. Admission $8 ($6 for fulltime students).
